Petey Pablo is hitting the ground running after being released from prison.
According to Allhiphop.com, the rapper was freed from the federal prison at Fort Dix, New Jersey Thursday after serving more than two years for trying to bring a gun on a plane.
The "Freek-a-Leek" rapper says he's already booked studio time with Timbaland, who he calls "my brother, my friend, my partner for life." Because one of hip-hop's biggest producer is backing him, he believes his next project will his "best work ever."
As for how he feels to be out of prison, he says he's "totally glad to be back in the race."
